TBIO

Theoretical Biophysics & Non-equilibrium Statistical Physics Lab

The TBIO group is Theoretical Biophysics & Non-equilibrium Statistical Physics Lab in the Department of Physics, POSTECH. We are interested in theoretical physics problems in the area of statistical physics, biological physics, and soft matter, which encompasses various topics, including the active dynamics of living matter, human chromosomes, single-molecule biophysics of DNA & membranes, stochastic processes and thermodynamics, etc. More information on the research activities can be found on the page of Research.

Our group is closely connected to the Asia Pacific Center for Theoretical Physics (APCTP)— located within the campus of POSTECH—via the Center’s diverse programs (e.g., the YST postdoctoral program and the visiting program). We are very open-minded to new people. Check more about people and our activities.
